About Eric Frontiera

The person behind West Side Michigan Living.

Eric Frontiera started West Side Michigan Living as a video series covering West Michigan cities and communities — well before "AI search" was a phrase anyone used. It came from the same place his real estate career did: buyers deserve real, specific answers about a place, not recycled marketing copy.

Before going independent, Eric spent 18 months on Allen Edwin Homes' own sales team and personally sold 52 of their homes. Each one meant sitting down with a different buyer or family, dialing in what they actually wanted, and weighing it against their timing and their budget to find the home that fit. That experience means he understands new construction from the inside: how builders price, how incentives move, and where buyers actually have room to negotiate.

Today Eric is the Owner of Frontiera Homes LLC, an investor, and a licensed Realtor with Brookstone Realtors, representing buyers across Michigan's Lower Peninsula — West Michigan to the Metro Detroit area — on new construction and resale alike.

Working With Eric

What it actually looks like to work together

Does it cost extra to work with Eric?

No. On new construction, the builder pays the buyer's agent commission directly — there's no discount for going without an agent, so having Eric represent you costs nothing extra. On resale, compensation is negotiated as part of your representation agreement, same as with any agent.

Do I need to sign anything before Eric can show me a home?

Yes. Since the August 2024 real estate practice changes, buyers are required to sign a written buyer representation agreement before touring homes with an agent. This isn't a cost to you — it simply puts in writing that Eric represents your interests, not the seller's or builder's, and spells out how he's compensated. It's a quick step Eric walks every buyer through before the first tour.

Thinking about a move in Michigan?

Whether it's new construction or resale, Eric Frontiera can walk you through any community across Michigan's Lower Peninsula — no cost or obligation.
